Tposts for 110?

I know it's a longshot but does anyone have a set (left/right) Tposts for a 1983 110? I am getting ready to button everything back up on my frame swap and will need a pair soon. Thanks

Safari rover does not have them? You are right up the road, right?

Yeah I have placed an order with him for months but he is back-ordered, just like everyone else. He knows I need a set and is looking out for me too. Just wondering if anyone here has a backup set or used ones for sale. Mine literally broke in two pieces when I took them off the truck. Any leads would be great. Thanks

If they just broke at the joint where the sill meets the dog leg, they look fairly easy to repair. I have a used set (one good, one broken) that I was going to try to fix up in that manner.

Yup, that would be my backup plan. One has already been welded by the previous owner and it looks ok. Just wanted a new set for the new frame.

RN lists them ($322.17 per side!). But not sure if they have inventory, or if you have to wait for them to bring them across the pond....

I assume you already checked with George if you've checked all these others?

Here Pendy, this is the broken one. The other has been welded in the same place. Of course there is rust along the other parts too.

Doug, do you know if the TD5 will fit? Are you willing to part with them? Please pm me if this is possible.

Andrew, yup already asked George.

I am having some parts made to repair a couple of them that are damaged like that. New metal to replace the pieces that angle up from the sill. I usually galvanize them after repairing them and put in a knife edge seal step similar to how the older 109" series trucks seals were installed and protected.

See if Doug can help you first.

If not you can send me those and I will repair them for you. New metal to replace the rusted out pieces and galvanized with a new seal step.

I hope you are not in a hurry either. It will take a while.

It is only flat stock there, I would just weld in new metal.

You are incorrect. There are a few contoured bends in the pieces that rot out.

But you can fix yours however you see fit.
