That's a wonderful question. It was squealing really bad but went away when grease was sprayed on it. Once it burned off the noise came back.

Then it would have to be the serp tensioner, which is the only exposed one. We have them, but only OE. Shoot me a message if you're interested

You know you can just replace the bearing. Takes about 10 min and It's $10 at NAPA If you email me tonight I will dig up the number. roverxtdi@gmail.com FYI It is the same part for a D1 and a 300tdi
