125 views in 2 hours, but no real replies. Surely one of you land Rover nuts would like to spend your days blissfully wrenching on Defenders in the Land of Enchantment....it's 61 degrees here....in February.....working with the doors open.

I generally start guys who have no experience and no tools at $12/hour to train them. For someone with legitimate LR experience and their own tools that can come straight in and do quality work with little to no supervision, I'm looking at paying $20-$30/Flat rate hour depending on the amount of experience and tools you have. I would also entertain paying an hourly wage with a flat rate commission bonus.

But you would have to live in Florida - the land of humidity, flatness, and old people..

Based on the work I have seen you post, any one of these shops should/would be grateful for any amount of your time.

Sounds like an offer.
No headhunters at the door by now.

Rob,
What happened with your thoughts of ditching the land of enchantment for the Grand Canyon state?

I would like to be your minute man just right now!

But

have to quit my job, this has a terminated influence in it; will take a year
have to sell my house, ok, this can be done by my son or daughter
have to import a 1997 Land Rover to the US. And a Sankey trailer. Both of the two not in original shape:

Now legal way at this point!

We'll find an other, the other day!
