Swing away tire carrier

Hey guys. I've got a 110 ex mod with the drop down rear tailgate. Does anyone make a swing away carrier that isn't attached to the door??

Mantec carriers attach to the plate on the door. I think a rear crossmember-mounted swing arm would do what you're looking for.

That's the one I asked L8 about. Quite cheap. It's on my list to order

Trevor at Rovah Farm said he could get those. He quotes approx $320 to my front door. What did you pay for that from Paddock?
Brian, what does the rear carrier that you posted go for? I like the ability to carry fuel and water too.

I emailed Paddock for a shipping quote and here is what I received back:
Hi
Thank you for your email. We can quote you the following.
The carriage charge would be approx 175.00GBP, this is very approx, as it could change once the goods have been packed.

That comes out to $447.20
$100+ more that thru Trevor.

That's ridiculous. I'd check with island 4x4, if they carry it. They quoted me like 140 to ship 4 complete air spring/strut assemblies for my LR3. (I haven't bough them yet though.)

Did they ever respond? I've noticed sometimes they are very fast, sometimes not so much, and at least once I never got a response at all..... but I've always gotten my parts quickly after the quote.

I never heard back from them. That's not an encouraging sign for any business.

I just got a reply from island, 80 for shipping for part number DA2232, which is 104.16.... which works out to about $305. I'd probably rather pay Trevor for it.... but the only down side is that since he's in Arkansas now, I'd have to pay tax too, which makes it even more.
