SW Hard Top preferably POE Configuration

I'm looking for hard top, preferably a POE configuration for my D90 rebuild. I currently have a complete NAS ST cage in great condition, which I would prefer to trade to someone who is looking for a ST conversion.

I can drive to meet you for an exchange, or deliver/pickup with some added gas money thrown in, depending on distance.

If there are no interested trades I'll sell the cage outright and hopefully scrounge enough to piece together a POE SW.

A nice full cage is worth more than a POE top.

The only hard bits to get for a POE conversion are the two short connections for the cage that mount it to the hardtop. Everything else is readily available, just buy a euro hardtop and a series liftgate.

Thanks for the info Ron.

Do you happen to know of any good sources for these parts? I'm guessing RDS would have them.

RDS actually has the cage "horns" for a defender "Black" (euro special edition). Depending on the cage you have, these might go straight on, otherwise, they would be easier to modify than it would be to fab new.

I've got a 94 NAS cage at the moment.

Who is a good source for the actual hard top its self. Roof, side panels, tail gate? I'm guessing RDS as well, as that's where I'd certainly prefer to send my money.

RDS has had them in the past. You might be able to make the "black" edition horns work. No way to really know. I would wager that it might cause the cage to foul on on the gutter rail unless they were cut shorter like the stock POE ones.

If I can get someone to give me some detailed dimensions of the POE horns I should be able to fabricate my own. I've gotta welder and bender here at the house.

I have complete NAS 90 Wagon set ups (roof with sunroof, headliners, visors, trims, int. lights, roof sides, roll cage parts, rear door (complete) etc. Everything you would need, that I will trade for complete ST set ups in the same condition (like new) I have a couple Green and soon to have Blue.
I'll even trade the roll up window doors for ST doors if they are in like condition (rust and dent free).

I do not check PMs. Call or email if you need something.

ECR is not a parts source. We are not in the mail order business.

Ping ini88 aka Daniel, I sold him my POE top and he probably would be willing to take measurements on the horns. I would be interested in a set if you make them.

Thats a generous offer. I have seen pictures of his Rollbar and such. They are in good order.

You think a POE top is worth more or do you think the parts are not readily available?

Will do Ron. If I can snag a SW setup, and not have to fab roof horns I'll go that route, but if do end up making a some I'll try to make a spare set.

Jon I have the horns. And i have the POE top off right now. So +2 for you!

I can ship out the horns to you if you want and mock up a bunch for us in the Defender community. I know a lot of people would love to get a set of these since these are the rarest thing on the POE tops.

Jon...I've got a CAD drawing that I had made of the "horn" part that you need...I converted my ST to POE hard top and I was going to have a pair created with the idea of offering them to folks as needed but ended up not needing to have them made...if you're interested I'll send you the drawing with the understanding that I never actually had them made up...I measured the actual part very carefully so they should be right on the money...lemme know
