Super Winch 10,000

So someone I know is selling a 2yr old Super Winch 10,000.

Is it worth $225. Excellent condition.

Thoughts?

LP10000? If so, just grab a tigershark 9500 for $300 shipped on Amazon.

I thought people raved about Super Winch on this forum. No votes?

Superwinch is fine, that's why people are telling you to get a NIB $350 TS instead of a 2 year old $300 winch for $200.

The most substantive part, which I should have added, is that the TS can be used with synthetic, I don't believe the LP can. Depending on your application 10k may be overkill which while building in capacity gives slow line speed too.

I used my LP for a couple years with synthetic, best to use a Heat guard of some sort. I now use the same line on my 9500 tigershark, and my buddy sold his truck that still was running the LP.

Wow. Just looked up the Talon 9500 I bought two years ago. Today MSRP is $1168 Amazon $680.
I got it for $598 including a neoprene cover and delivery- base price $517 direct from Superwinch.

As of late Amazon isn't the automatic cheapest place to shop. It pays to shop around.

Yeah they now have us addicted to Prime and are raising prices. Zappos charges more than the local shoe store to cover the free shipping and returns as well. Convienence costs.

Nothing to add on the winch, sorry for the jack..
