I met a guy at the local Cars and Coffee that knew how to tune them. He worked/owned a local british car shop and felt it was a shame they had such a poor reputation. Biggest culprit, in his opinion, was lack of or incorrect oil in the pots.

Clay, to my knowledge Stromberg is worst than SU's. I just want to play around like my old 1302 beetle with twin Weber 45's to 48's IDA.
