I just/last week bought a set cheap with the hardened McNamara HD flanges from Paddocks in the UK. The flanges were $34 for the pair and the axle shafts were about $27 each. The downside was shipping @ 60gbp for two day UPS service. With shipping from the UK, 2 shafts and flanges, it was about what a single axle shaft shipped costs from RN.
Mine were completely shot @ the outer flange end and the splines where they fit into the diff had a 30 degree bend in the splines-ie just about twisted off. Replacing those two shafts and flanges took pretty much all the slack out of the drive train. Now I want to put one of those $390 Detroit soft-lockers (225SL-36) in. http://www.drivetrainoutlet.com/Outl...For_Yours.html
Just need a money tree to come up through the snow and ice....8 degree's here tonight.
