No, I did not hear from the ad from Huntington Beach...that's why I posted it so someone locally would know it was for sale.

If bj fein was paying attention, my criteria for my price is 24k. I thought I asked him yesterday to put his energy into something else but clearly he is hung up on my search still.

PM me if you want to discuss further, this thread is being highjacked and doing the original author no good.

I saw your criteria, that's why I said this one isn't right. Like porridge that's too cold.

The reason you are getting mocked is the constant not mine posts and the repeated questions you can easily get answers for. If you look we were merciless to horsey for the same crap.

Barry forgets he was new at one point, too. Matt, it's just a bit of playful banter from Barry - he's actually a good resource to have around as he has a TON of free time to go look at a truck for you (although he's far too lazy to do so) but if you send him some pics he'll give you a good honest opinion on it, plus he comes across a nice truck from time to time and has helped a few people here find some nice examples that they've then purchased.

I was new indeed and try to help but before I bought I didn't have 50 not mine posts.
Send me any pic you want. I will try to help best I can.

I literally have nothing to do all day. I need to post more since horsey is catching up.

Thank you!

So, I ended up going with a 1997 ST (green) from a dealer in CA. A far cry from where I started...thought I was going with a 1994 ST and only in arles blue.

It's now in the garage and I have a thrilled husband. He's kind of a freak about maintenance and worried about the truck being in our cold garage. I went ahead and posted some questions about this in the tech forums.

Arles Blue 1994 Land Rover Defender 90 - $35000 (Los Angeles, CA)

1994 Defender 90 for sale.
Arles blue with the following:
Diamond plate on fenders
Alloy Vent Covers
Bearmach Steering Guard
Safety Devices Roof Rack
Dayton Timberline Tires
Best Top Soft top
Bikini Top
Alloy Dash Binacle
Optima Battery
Rear Bench Seat
Hella 3000 Lights

Bought this truck for my summer house but decided it won't get enough use there so I rather it go to someone who will enjoy it.

Truck has roughly 82,000 miles on it and runs perfectly. I just had it serviced which included bleeding the brake lines, adding a new exhaust, recharging the AC, and replacing the rubber oil cooler lines. The truck needs nothing mechanically.

Other than the service I just did the following:
Re-powercoating the bumper, brush bar and third brake light.
Added new rubber mats, rear load space, front floor (td5 style over the transmission tunnel).
Added new speakers throughout
Replaced the shift knob

The truck is in great condition and ready to be enjoyed by it's new owner.
