Starting to look for stock parts

Starting to look for the following stock items for my '97:
- front bumper
- door sills in Arles Blue
- SW rear tire mount
- front seats

If you have something, shoot me a PM and give me a yell on what you might be looking for it/them.

Thanks!

Hey Chris,

I called SG the other day. They still have sills laying around, not sure if they have it in Arles though. I think they ask $50/pair.

Going to be changing things up.

Ade, thanks. I have a set of yellow ones back at the farm up in PA. If I cant find a set of blue, I can have my father send me them.

Can a d90 cage be extended into a 110 cage? I'm guessing they share similar parts. Are you in a big rush? We could perhaps trade the soft top parts from my green truck (including the tire carrier, tailgate, fiberglass top, etc) and you could have an arles blue 97 soft top.

Jim. the rear section "appears" to be the same but I would need to measure the sections from a fellow club members truck to be sure. The 110 front section is an elongated version of my 90's. You could likely weld extend it.

The problem is that this is pretty much a permanent fixture on the blue truck. If I take it off, there are huge hole left over at the 4 pass-through spots and the 2 holes in the rear tub.

Here are 2 pictures to show the difference in the front:

You guys are losing me, talk slower. Chris, you have made holes in your body to accommodate the exo cage. Surely you can't switch to a SW now without a lot of work?

Just keep it and pick up either the Red ST that Tis has been trying to give away or the White ST from SD that Chip was trying to give away!

lol.. Charles, yes, the external cages require pass through holes to be cut into the body for the supports to fully tie into each other.

You can see more about what I mean form the pictures of when it was installed, over on Tonys site:
http://www.nnin.net/gallery2/defender/cageinstall/

Page 3 I think is where the cutting started.

Ha ha! I forgot about them holes! You could have my tub too, but you wouldnt want it. 'Tis ugly and has a second filler hole (series style) cut for the spare tank.

hehe.. yeah I think it would be easier to just sell the truck as is, sort some stuff out and then look for a replacement.
