I think the stage 1 dash is the same as other SIII's. Should be easier to get than the Defender LHD stuff. RHD might be a pain to find over here.

Sorry,

I should have specified. I am looking for RHD and I am looking for a run of dash parts that were stamped with the appropriate years to correspond to Stage 1 V8s.

Thanks

Yup, bought them many years ago (the black mesh grill). They are still on the shelf at the old shop, new in the Genuine bag.
Have to check on prices. Will get a photo next time I'm up there.

Not to pull a Horsey but wasn't Ron looking for one for a long time. I thought short of buying a full truck the odds of finding one were nil. Will it even attach to a stock grill surround?

We still have a bunch of Stage 1 stuff from back in the Series days. I see some new Stage 1 steering relays in my travels around the parts area, and all kinds of stuff. We have been hoarding stuff since 1993 remember.
I didn't realize they were that rare, but then again I thought the odds of finding new NAS 90 C hoops and such were nil as well.

It won't look good on a NAS grill panel (the alloy part) as the holes for the nut inserts would show. The Stage 1 grill just sits inside that piece and has 2 pins that stick in.

We still have half a barn full of new in the crate SII/IIA front fenders and about 8 trucks worth of NOS 88 complete tub sides, bug-eye grills, etc etc. Someday I'll have to figure out what to do with all that stuff.

Yeah I guess finding anything is possible. Finding cages this many years after the truck was discontinued was a super rare find. I think there were 15 in total. Now if only a truck load of b pillars would show up.

Something like that I guess.
I know guys at the shop used to freak when they went to the parts barn and saw the NOS Series pick up roofs hanging up and the new, still in the box, lift-gates and such.

Getting off topic though. This guy needs a Stage 1 grill.

Ah yeah, that would be me. There is sooo much cool N.O.S. series stuff it would make your head spin. It was just cool to actually see( and touch) vintage stock.

Please post a pic. New sounds good. I would like a pic though as I have seen some new old stock series stuff that looks like it was new when it was left outside 25 years ago.

thanks

Will post a pic next time I head to the parts barn, but this is new sealed in the bag and stored inside since we bought it new in the 1990s. It is undamaged.
