There are rear tailgate guards for soft tops? If so, I need one too. Second in line after Dr. T.

Ah.
I'm just glad Mr. T went back to school and got his advanced degree. The A Team gig wasn't going to last forever.

re:ST tailgate card

No Bi-Josho not the sub-woofer surround.

Here's a pic of the stock version of what I need.

These are the ones I was talking about, DrT-pon. Never seen one that covers the latch mechanism:

Hmmm. The one I have looks decent. But a few of the spots for the screws are broken out. It can be mounted but the card rattles and drives me nuts. Was hoping to just replace it rather than go through the effort of plastic welding the broken spots.

It does. But the size is smaller and correct for the rear.

Any pics of it installed? Who made it?

Like most people, I have never seen one.

That sounds annoying - I'll buy your useless one for real cheap.

Like most people, I have never seen one.

If I end up reinstalling it I'll post a pic. The pocket has the land rover logo embossed just like my door cards. It's of the same material and density as the door cards.

The finish looks a little grainier than the stock door cards, no?

I think it's just the crappy picture making it look grainy. The texture (finish) is identical to my door cards which are suffering from similar broken areas.

I don't require an identical replacement. I remember seeing some custom made out of starboard or the like.

I like the idea of a rear door card... But, I have never seen one. Maybe Iron Goat could make one? Having a pocket and flashlight holder would be cool.

Are you the original owner of the truck?

I need a ruling from Ron and ken as to originality. The pockets with the logo are easy to get and add to rn front doors so I am assuming that is where it came from. As for the card itself, no clue.

PS - FOUND IT. Apparently it may have been a POE trim piece? Hard to believe, since the POEs were known to have basically ZERO trim pieces. Anyway, Tony had the only other one I've been able to find.

Yeah, details on where the truck came from?

It's funny none of us recognize this, if it was somehow a stock item. Again, the closest thing I've seen is RTC7793

Not the original owner.

I agree that the pocket would be an easy switch with the LR logo pocket. It has the same metal bar retainers for the pocket as the front door cards and is molded for the pocket. The reverse show no sign of trimming.

It is possible that all 3 door cards are aftermarket. They are all of the same material and the same level of deterioration.

It is odd that no one has seen one regardless of manufacturer.

While we are at it I need front door cards too
