Smile ST rear cage needed

Looking for a ST rear cage. Must be in nice condition. Also could use a good soft top once I have the cage.

Hey Ken- sorry I missed your call the other week, as I was in Co. Left you a message. I have a rear s/t cage, but it has had the padding removed, and powdercoated. Let me know if this helps- hope all is well. Cheers, Dale

Hey Dale,
I really want to fit a regular soft top, so I need one with padding. Thanks anyway, talk to you soon.

Ken, NAS cages are very rare, which is why you aren't seeing people offering them up. But those items differ in price by about 5 or 6 times (and not in your favor), just FYI.

The last rear cage on here went for about $600 back in August. I just missed it. Have bought a couple of others over the years for similar $$. I would be willing to pay more right now to get one, but there does not seem to be any out there.
Charles, I am not looking for the whole cage, just the rear hoop and b to c horizontals. I did buy one set once on Ebay for $1200 last year. Numerous people on this board wanted to know who bought it and why they paid sooooo much. { I really, really needed it.} Last time I checked , a nice hard top was in the $2k range.

Hey not trying to deter you and maybe for partial cage parts it's different, but they are going for a lot more than $600 afaik, especially in good condition. Show me a good condition set for $600 and I'll buy it myself as mine has chunks out of the padding in the rear. A used soft top alone is still $600-800 according to a thread yesterday (you might want to grab one of those from ECR). I don't see hard tops selling for more than $1200 but could be wrong. I was just trying to help set your expectations

Best of luck! Maybe someone will notice this thread with the bumps.

No problem Charles. I really want to pay cash for it, just thought maybe with winter approaching, somebody might want the hard top.

Most people just drop on a hard top over the cage, not replace it so I don't think you'll get too many people interested in doing that. Even people converting to a POE top appear to be hanging on to their cages given their value. Again, sorry to be negative.

Actually, I already have the soft top anyway. Bought it off d-90 poster, Durhas, for $325 shipped, and it is very nice. Got a Pretty good deal , I think.
Soooooooooo, just need to pay somebody big $$$ for those three bars.

Ok, so you just want to do a fastback to full cage - 3 bars, no frame pieces etc? Certainly sounds reasonable.

Someone get this man some cage parts. You know how brutally cold those Florida winters can get

Did you check with rmuller? Looks like he had these back in May

Thanks Charles. Yes, I am just trying to go from a fastback to a full soft top, three pieces. I really did buy a set for $1200 on Ebay last year and a bunch of guys here wondered who the heck would pay that much. A few said they would gladly sell theirs for that amount of $$. I did not own up to being the sucker.
Anyway, it looks like these have gotten scarce.
Ryan, yours did get snagged wicked quick and for short $$. It was sold before I saw the post.
