Your first link was already quoted above. As for the second, I've already looked into them, it will be $2000+ before shipping. That's 1/4 what I paid for the truck, not going to dump that kind of cash into it

We were able to source the correct sliding windows already installed in the sides from Hobson Land Rover Parts(Hobson Industries UK) fairly easily. Expensive but he had them here within the week a couple years ago. He had more sets and I think we paid around 1200$ for both sides complete with the windows. Otherwise we could have bought NTO Windows alone for 450'ish each from the same supplier.

Now for the correct windows themselves: they suck. The latches are always sliding off and/or breaking. They sometimes won't open and once the latch tooth is broken they slide at will. Not a chance of keeping all 8 plastic latches in good working order at the same time. But they look good and give tons of airflow so whatever.

We're just trying to give you the answer. Nobody ever said that what ECR uses is CHEAP.

That's th thing though, it's not what ECR uses I don't think. The ones that were linked for more flush and honestly are better looking. I'd guess that whatever ECR uses isn't custom and more like mass market

About 25 years ago, a shop we still deal with today pieced together 4 - 109 or 88 roof slides with double sliding windows into 2 LWB roof sides.
Result was roof sides with two double sliding windows (8 pains of sliding glass).
You might be able to pick up the panels fairly cheap, but this sort of custom work could be beyond your current budget which you have not revealed.

Not sure Robert, but when I was researching windows in the Tithonus top, I seem to remember that VW Vanagon sides were a close match to defender ones. I figured if there was an interest, someone could contact the seller.

The problem with a Tithonus is the cross bars of the roll cage are approximately 3/4" from the side, which doesn't leave much room for a window unit. My first preference was a sliding window in order to provide some air flow on those warm Fall days, but eventually ended up with a glass company just putting fixed glass in. I remember spending approximately $500 to do it and I brought the top to them with a rough sketch of what I wanted.

I think Dale Knepp figured out how to put sliding windows in a Tithonus top though.

I found this from the Masai website: The size of the aperture needed is 1057mm x 427mm - which is the Land Rover standard size for Defender rear side windows.

Based on the cartoon below, looks like the width of the window is about the same as a Defender (1060mm).

Just heard back from ECR. The windows from my photo were actually a LR Original part, that are no longer in production and pretty much cannot be found for sale. Maybe I'll have to save up and put in something custom/non-original. Thanks for the help everybody!

Did you try Masai? They have windows that are made for defenders reasonably cheap.
