I have seen people put nurfs on the sliders and then treadbright on top. The problem with that is they are a little high. The LR sliders from the factory do bend a little when challanged but they do drop a little.

Those are typically called nerf (or maybe nurf) bars. No idea who makes any like that for a D90 though.

take any set of sliders, add a vertical receiver of sorts on the back side, and fab some steps that are removable- pm me w/ email for pic
