Just need the rear tube

Any chance that one of you would be willing to take the rear axle apart and just sell me the tube?

What is wrong with your tube? If it is the support, you can just weld on plate. Same with the diff cover.

Yes - all I need is the tube. The current tube on the truck is a IIa tube and as you know the brake line attachment is different, not to mention it is tweaked from some yahoo's attempt at off roading. In regards to no needing the entire axle, I intend to reuse the McNamara locker, axles and drive flanges.

So now that you know my dirty secrets, does anyone have a tube they'll sell me?

I would sell just the tube but now I am questioning myself if it is a II or a III. It is off a 1970 NAS. Is there an easy way to tell?
