I don't know about the brakes, only their unreliability.

There's been a lot of chatter lately about Sankey covers, and I just wanted to put in a plug for Tom (tjfslaughter) and his covers. For pics, take a look at post #28:

I've been running it for 2 years now, and it's flawless. Has survived numerous wheeling events, rain, snow, sleet, etc. I've - literally - never had a drop of water inside of the Sankey EVER when it sits with the cover on.

If you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it guaranteed, I will - I've got spare time. But for now, for your Sankey's sake, for your daughter's sake, ya might wanna think about buying a quality product from BIG TOM (tjfslaughter).

Has it really been two years...wow...I remember when that started like it was last week! I would prefer to call him Uncle Tom...
