RRC ABS Pump

Just got back from a lovely vacation to find stopping in the Range Rover is near impossible.

Gave a quick look around and tapped the Pump with a hammer. It moved slowly but barely, then stopped. Does anyone want to cut me some slack on a replacement?!

I would sure love to get my truck up and running again soon! Thanks.

Truck is a 1990 RRC.

Hard to find good ones for the classics.. With some redesigning of the hose I have used a 95 up brake pump.. Much easier to find..

Not exactly what I wanted to hear but it works for me. Thanks for the tip. How do you do it? Any pics of the changed hose.
I really hope someone just finds one laying around before I have to turn this into a day project.

Used ones are on eBay for the $100-$200 range.

Have you tried British Boneyard?

Thanks for the help everybody. I picked one up off of crown. I also found a place called falconworks in Tuscon, AZ that rebuilds them. They can test the pump, switch, and accumulator for you and then tell you what needs to be fixed. For now, im just going to put it crown's pump and hope this is the end of this problem...

No but you do have to replace a bunch of brake lines. And have only one going to the back with a new one in two out T.

I believe abs range rover calipers had 2 lines going into them.. One for the power brakes and one for a safety manual circuit....non abs did not..if I recall correctly....

Truck runs fine now. Took advantage of the break down and put my stainless lines from rovertym on it left over from the 87 tear down. Couldn't finish the rear because it had 2 lines instead of one! I need one more and I'll have all the lines done. Not in any rush though...
