Or yours in that rainstorm where we drank all the margarita's, gran marnier, and anything else anyone had as 2 inches poured down in a couple of hours. Didn't Galpin have a rough time that evening ?

BTW- we were drinking that night in relative bliss under tarps hung from Charles eezi awn rtt

Yeah I didn't handle those margaritas too well

On the RTT topic, I am not a fan of them on top due to weight and my kind of wheeling and our east coast terrain. Perfect on a trailer or if a light model and overlanding only (although I still worry about weight).

I love the easy-awn but its very heavy.

So true. Half the stuff I buy is from CA expo members. And often used only once!

This has been my experience with cars. A couple of years ago, I bought a 1974 911 wide body that wouldn't start (bad WUR) for a song from a dentist near LA and just prior to that, a 1984 911 with a bad clutch (rubber diaphragm). Total for the two was less than $25k. There are deals out there, typically from people with more aspirations and money than reality and resilience.
