Retaining clip

Any body have a set of rear window retaining clips for a Badger soft top? Can not for the life of me find the two I purchased a year or so ago.
Thanks

Soft Top Tailgate Clip

I am still on the hunt for a set of clips for the tailgate retaining bar for my Badger top. I found a set but had to purchase the bar as well, $80+. The second time I tried to attach the bar the 292.16 broke off. I now have two bars and one clip.

I then found this at:
http://www.jcbritish4x4.com/d90-soft...bracket-75-00/
They seem to not be available as yet.

Any one know of a source? I tried going directly to Besttop but they had no interest in talking to me. It is a Badger Top so their e-mail response was curt.
Thanks for your help.

It's not a badger part as far as I know, so you don't need to tell them what make it is for. If you found a full set for $80 including the bar, then buy that and sell the bar. Plenty of people just need the bar.

Thanks. That looks like what I will have to do again. I was just hoping that some one knew about the Aluminum version. Looks like a good idea to me. I have not dealt with that vendor before though.

Next time I put the clips on I will need to shim them up 1/4 of an inch and make it easier to attach the back window.
Thank you,

I always just sleeve the bar onto the top, then get the bar down close to the top of the clips to where they're touching them a little, then SMACK them on.

I got to the Smak step and put a bit too much enthusiasm into the Smack. Darn. And now I find that my source is "temperately out of stock". Darn again.

I am going to contact the vendor on Monday and see if there is an ETA on the aluminum clips.

There is always something.
thanks
