Ken Loy has delt with the guys from NTR. Their bumperettes will work with the rear bumper still installed if that interests you.

I know your looking SG. but if you get desperate or change your mind, you might consider getting the Scorpion Racing ones. I painted my tread plates black so the whole unit is black.

I've got a pair of the Scorpion racing ones as well & can recommend them. I'm about to get mine blasted & galvanised.

The NTR bumperettes got delivered today. I have not had a chance to install them yet, but the quality appears to be excellent.

Doug, Hippert welded his NTR bumperettes on and I think that's going to be much stronger than the bolt-on that I did. I think they can be welded and still be compatible with the bolt-on/off rear bumper. If someone does it, will you post the info?

I took the easy way out and went with bolts only. I agree that welding them on would probably be much stronger though.

Mine are bolted on. I'm not sure how strong you guys want them, but I smacked one HARD and it did it's job. I actually crushed my rear side marker (left the pieces in the mud wall I contacted) but did zero body damage because the bumperette took the force.
I was very impressed. I just had to replace the rear light and buff the paint instead of replacing a rear body panel.
