rear 110 body capping

I want to replace the slightly rusty body capping on my NAS 110 tub, looking for a set for the rear tub in great shape, Apline white would be excellent.

Oh no! You can't! It will fundamentally alter its originality, purity, zen, dao, feng shui or whatever!

Seriously, please paint it black. Its looks much better.

x2 on needing the same. I heard you can use series body cappings though I don't think they come in the same full length + corner (one piece). Not an issue since i can cut and weld. But I need a source for the capping somewhere. Checked RN site and RDS and no luck so far.

Anyone?

I sourced a pair from RN a while back, I think they were something like $130 each. Once I got them however, they were not a proper fit. See: http://www.defendersource.com/forum/...hlight=capping. Wound up getting some local guys to repair my capping and it worked great. Had em galvanized and still am very pleased with the outcome.

Just my .02 but why not get the earlier part # galvanized cappings and then paint them white and be done with the problem forever. The cappings on my 83 have no rust anywhere.

Tis- where did you get your pair of 90 calipers from ?

Be careful you don't accidentally get the ones for the 90 they are the wrong length. That happened to me, and I was out of town so the body shop took mine off, sandblasted em and painted them. They look like brand new now. If you don't mind the down time, you can save some money just cleaning yours up unless they are really badly pitted.
