Range Rover SC

I know it's not a Defender but I thought I'd throw it out there and see what happens. I am looking to upgrade the grocery getter/kid hauler.

Here is my list:
-2006 or newer (really 2007 is ideal)
-Less than 50k miles
-Any color but white, and even black is a bit iffy for me
-Rear DVD- factory or aftermarket, and all the other features like seat heat, nav and what not, if the truck could practically drive me to the store on it's own AND do the shopping that would be even better
-Supercharged- a girl needs to get to the store quickly
-Less than $36k (the more the less than the happier the checkbook holder would be- note that's not me or I'd be looking 2010...)
-Not too blingy either- I don't really have any interest in those funky chrome accessories everyone needs to add

Alex

PM is easiest for me

That's funny.

It's between the RR SC or a BMW 5 series wagon. Mama likes to get there quick. I have slow covered with the Defenders.

You like the RR SC more than the RRS SC? Or is the RRS just too small.

Alex,

There is an exotic auction on Thursday ( Manheim PA ) and every other thursday thereafter

I could be there if need it to be

So you know add another 500 - 600 ish auction fee and 150ish Post Sale Inspection for 14 days, that means if anything is wrong with the car in 14 days ( most of the time they defer it to Warranty if covered ) you can
A - have them pay for repair
B - they give you the wholesale value of the repair
C - the vehicle can be returned

I want what the Queen has- there is a theme brewing here. I like the full body look and it gives my Dane a few more inches of head room vs the sport. Have a BMW for driving like a real jack @ss.

Looked at it a year or so ago and wasn't as in love with it as I thought I would be. Felt like a dressed up Defender more than anything. I'm sure I'll be struck down for that comment.

Are you willing to pick one up from SoCal? If so I can put you in touch with a person that will pluck one from the auction for a fee and since it is a SoCal truck, it may have less under carriage stuff going on (no salt). If so, shoot me a PM and I will send you their contact information.
