Ive got an early set but A) they are still under a truck, and B) shipping would be cost prohibitive. The later (thicker) ones can be made to fit with a hammer if need be.

I'd rather not get out the speed wrench.

I may have to take you up on that.

Anyone who has gotten the new thicker arms into an older axle, how much of a PIA was it?
Thanks

tom,

I have a set there that are rusted at the frame bushing end. You could probably use them for a few days while you get your existing ones rebushed.

Free to you if you don't mind shipping but I would not recommend using them long term so maybe not worth the cost to ship.

I could perhaps get them to NJ or philly though via RURR.

Well I am pulling another axle out of the pile to rob some hubs off it today so let me know. This would be a good time for me to do this for you.

I can wrap a set up and ship them wherever.

This is what happened to me when I did thinner (supposedly stronger) trailing arms. Bent them like a coat hanger! Not sure if you are doing front or rear.............Since I installed RTE's after this I have had no problems. And no I don't have four wheel steering..........

That's a trailing arm. We're talking about radius arms(front).

Okay I will get that done for you. They will need new bushing, I am sure. If I have time I will burn them out a bit for you.

After RTE works them over they will be more durable then new.

Great thanks, I think you can leave the bushings, they put in new ones anyway. Although I'm sure they'd appreciate it.
Thanks again
