Radiator

Looking for a radiator condition doesn't matter as it is going to be re cored. Current radiator has a nice river running through it after it heats up.

Tyler, I haven't heard very many good stories of recored radiators, and for the most part doesn't it cost close to the same as a new rad? Up here I think it costs $300 for a re-core and on average they last less then a year.

Trevor want's to recore it so what the heck. He's got a shop that will enlarge the core slightly that he takes a lot of the other cars he works on to. Having seen the other cars at his shop I'm willing to give it a try.

Tyler, When I was buying my truck, the PO saw that it was overheating. He cored and it didn't do the trick. He then had it replaced and when he did, he saw that it was very badly corroded which of course a coring wouldn't fix. Perhaps a replacement would do ok, but like Mike implied, with these Al cores, is it worth it?
