R380

Looks like my Lt77 just crapped out. I need to start exploring my options. Anyone know how much a used R380 goes for? Anybody have one in Socal? Anybody want a 94 D90?

Used seems to get good money. I have ~800 for mine (I say ~ because it was 1k inc an LT230).

What is wrong with the LT77?

I have one in Norcal. Rebuilt, never oiled up. Changed plans on my conversion and now don't need it. Also has all the shifter pieces (which you dont get with most used units)

I also have the r380 bulkhead to tunnel adapter (but not the tunnel).

You'll still need the bellhousing, tunnel cover, and clutch assembly which I believe are all different.

pm for particulars if interested.

Buy the rebuilt one. Personally I would stay away from used unless you know the seller and history.

What happened with yours? Who is going to do the install?

Good luck finding a disco stick tranny in good shape.

Did four oaks say it was shot? You will be happy with a r380.

some other options are a rebuild (RDS has the kit for $430 ssuming no gears are needed)

or - I'll be at Ashcroft Tranny in the UK next thursday and could pick up any parts you need (their lt77 rebuild kit is $230)

Did you call British Car Service? They may have some. Also, I think there are some yards out in Sun Valley with used parts.
