Plastic "Capping"

WTB: Plastic "capping" for a 1997 NAS ST that runs the length of the "storage bins" under the dash board. It's about 3 feet long and rounded at the top. My apologies for my ignorance of the correct terminolgy. Thanks in advance.

safarihp had them made out of aluminum I believe (so that they wouldn't crack).

I don't see it in his old threads though. Maybe it wasn't him? I remember a metal one being made (could have sworn out of aluminum) just can't recall for certain if it was him - seems like something he provided though. Give his shop a call and he'll remember better than I do.

aka the "hockey stick." George at Rovers Down South usually has them, if the aluminium one that Josh mentions doesn't pan out.

Yep. I remembered it's called the lower dash trim finisher or something. The part comes up as AWR5987

never found the aluminum thing I thought I saw. Must have been a dream or something. I know I wasn't thinking of the aluminum dash cowel, but that's all that kept coming up.

Josh- I believe the piece you are thinking of is the main support for the cluster, etc that Stephen had made from aluminum in lieu of the plastic OEM piece.
