Needed: 83 split door inner handle assembly

Need the inner latch assembly for an early split door. My friend when to pull the inner handle to get out and the plastic handle broke off. I am guessing I need to replace entire handle mechanism. This is for a 83 110.

Hope it's an easy fix and that someone can send you the part soon. As I would hate to think how uncomfortable your friend would be stuck in the 110 for more than a couple nights! ;-) jk.

But in all seriousness, I'd be surprised if "un" solid plastic would be your only option. You'd think that someone would have brought to market a better and more stout solution. Best of luck. I'll keep my eyes open.

Awesome. I need the left hand side if it matters for orientation. Don't know if they can be swapped.

I'll let him know. I thought it was the right side, but had my doubts as I thought you were RHD.

Thanks. Yes mine is RHD, but my passenger didn't know his own strength. That or he really wanted out.

I need left hand side to be clear.

I'm pretty sure I've got one or two. Let me get the doors out this weekend and let you know.

Here's what I've got. If go you need them I've got the operating rods, brackets, etc, but I'm guessing this is what broke.

This is one from each door, there is one or two that are definitely non-op, but they can be cannibalized for parts.

Paypal is great - jimcheney (at) hotmaildotcom.

Shipping will be around 15 bucks. 10 bucks each seem ok?

Let me know if you need the rods or brackets or whatever.
