NEED lt77

So I guess I pulled the 2.5NA out of the 110 a bit sloppy today; I broke one of the cast holed tabs on the back of the gearbox that connects to the XC. See pic below...

So it looks like I now have to get another lt77. I don't need a bell housing. Prefer NC area or somewhere with possibility for RURR soonish.

Ugh

So if you have that piece or a junk lt77 that works too!

Dale is a good source, but your better choice is to install a R380 Stumpy from Ashcroft.

Ideally, that would be great! However, I'm at the limits of my budget and time available! After the kit arrives I will have about one week to finish the conversion.

I have two of them sitting on a shelf, waiting rebuilt. Mainly use them as parts. Working but wouldn't drop them on a vehicle as is. If you need one I might sell it cheap but, shipping from CDN will be pricey!

Let me know if you don't find closer to you..

We've got a couple used on the shelf - but your best bet is probably Safari or Urban as you can spend more on the parts and less on the shipping that way…

my .02 would be to have it welded and ground smooth. Its one of 5 mounting points and if that trans was good one I'd fix that case. Should only take someone 30 mins or so to fix what you have. Faster and cheaper than any of your alternatives.

Doug - thanks for the advice. I think from a time/cost perspective it may be the best option! I need to get back to the farm and take a look at it.

I just looked at the broken bit and I too suggest welding. I have that casting apart if needed. Send me your address and if you want it I'll send it FOC. Also can't recall where you are but if Jacksonville I can tell you where a great welding shop is located.
