Exclamation need a D-90

I have got to find a truck. I really don't want to spend more that 20,000. I am in a position to come get a vehicle this weekend. Right now I am a vehicle short, and realy don't want to have to settle for something other than a D-90. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it. I could possibly go a little over 20 for the right truck. This could be my only opprotunity to own a 90 for a while, and I realy want to take advantage of it. If there is anywhere else to look let me know. I have looked at ebay, autotrader, and cars.com. Any help or leads to a vehicle would be greatly appreciated.

Martin

Nothing in the vehicals for sale what you want? Maybe you should just go to MAR with $20k in your pocket and make offers!

This Message was on Solaros website... www.solaros.com - BB section...

Defender 90 at Bear Valley - $14,900

Ken called today and said that Ben Mathis was thinking about trading in his 1995 D-90 - its a Conniston Green soft top with about 187,000 miles.

Its a bit of a fixer-upper - It needs a new clutch and its going to need a new top and two rear tires soon. Ken says there is a funny noise coming from the transmission area - may be related to the clutch, maybe not. He was thinking of putting it out there at $14,900 if any of us is interested.

Ben has kept the truck up pretty well and its been regularly serviced at Bear Valley - while its not dirt cheap it's more affordable than most D-90's and could be fixed up and enjoyed for many more years. Give Ken a call if you're interested at 770-645-8886.

There's a real nice red 95 D-90 ST at Bear Valley as well - belonged to a Solaros member who bought it when it had just a few thousand miles on it and he took real good care of it. Its got 55K on it now and is a great truck.

They also have 95 black one on the way.

Wink got time

okay. i got a little piece of crap car to get me by while i wait for the fight defender. I need to find a good defender with a price under 20,000. i know everyone is asking more than that, but if anyone is ready to get rid of one and wants to come down on there price I am a definate buyer. The only stipulations are it needs to have a/c and can't be blue. I sold my wife on the idea, but she does not like blue. i do, but she doesn't. anyone that might have a prospect or be able to point me towards one please post or send me an email. thank you.

Give me a little time to ponder getting rid of mine and I might have the truck for you. Getting married Saturday and I haven't driven it in too long. The (soon to be) wife wants me to keep it, but I want her to get used...I'll keep you updated.

I am still waiting for the right 90 to fall into my lap. Anybody want to sell to me? I still don't want to spend more than $20,000.

Martin,

This DII is for sale in California. It belongs to a buddy of mine and has an ARB, Warn winch, 6x Hella 4000s, meticulously maintained. Not sure about the price, though. Will forward his contact info if you are interested.

Also, check http://www.landroverexchange.com often. I've seen many D90s for sale for less than $20K.

Here's one to look at. By the way, if you are a USAA member (military, former military, and family of military are eligible), they will finance a D-90--and with good rates, too. Just another something to consider.
