NAS ST Roll Cage Diagonal ("Tie Bar") ALR5544 or ALR7823

The piece that comes down diagonal from the upper rear of the B pillar hoop to the tub. The foam is split on the left side one (driver's) so its rusted and coming apart. Anyone have one? I prefer the 94 style, but the 95/97 style would be okay, but in that case I'd probably need the right side (ALR7822) as well so it matches since mine's a 94.

If I were to cut the foam off and then repair the metal there's probably no way to put the foam back on huh? Is there any product that will permanently stick it together?

I don't see why a spray adhesive wouldn't work? You will have a nasty seam on the inside but I think it's possible.

Take a box cutter to the inside seam with a straight edge and make a straight cut all the way down to the metal. Once all the way through the rubber will peel away, imagine a pool noodle. I have done this several times when shortening the contrails for installing the cages on five door 110's. When reinstalling spray contact adhesive on both the bar and the inside rubber. It should work. Let me know how it goes...
