NAS Header Bar wanted

Hoping someone is converting to a hard top forever and willing to sell their NAS header for a really good price.

Is the header for the ST? That's what retains the soft top on the windshield frame? I thought it was the roll bar behind the drivers and passenger seat.

I have a lead on one, ill let you know if he is willing to let it go and for how much. He just bought my aluminum hard top and is wanting to convert to SW full time.

I have an extra header bar and alpine bar.

But you will have to dig deep in your pocket after lowballing me on the fiberglass top.

LOL !!!

Maybe we can work out a package deal. You should go give plasma today so you can afford my prices

Hey Jimmy,
In all seriousness, I am interested in the header bar. And Snap Rails if you have them. In all seriousness again, I showed the pics of your top to a local fiberglass repair. Estimate is STARTING at 450. To reproduce those corners is a whole other cost. I don't know about in KS, but here in LA it's costly. Not mentioning the cost to transport. This is why I offered what I offered. Let's seriously talk about that package deal.

PM me.

You may want a fiberglass top but they suck. Plus you don't need a fiberglass top AND a header bar, so you can focus on one or the other for now if that helps. Fiberglass tops break...easily...as you've probably seen in your search. If shipped it may show up in even more pieces than it is currently in.

X2. I would not even attempt to ship a FG top. When I worked for LR, we received brand new FG tops that were damaged during shipping. And these were well packaged! LR warranty protocol required us to take a hammer to them and then throw them in the dumpster. True story....

Package deal 600.00 Header bar and damaged fiberglass top that needs work. No shipping available. I can drive west a few hours to meet someone picking the items up if that helps, just cover the fuel costs.

I do not have the snap rails. And someone just bought the alpine bar so it is not available with the "package" now.

This is more fun then a PM Grin

Jimmy, sent you a PM.

Josh, are these tops really hated THAT much? My goal is to have two tops. A decent softy, and a hardtop for long distance trips. So far, restoration is in my future.

I never got a PM from you. Last PM I got from you was the 7, Oct when you lowballed me 300 for the fiberglass top.

I think I will just pass and sell the header bar to the other interested party. If I hear of any of these parts going up for sale I will put them in touch with you. Good Luck.

Wow. Jimmy I'm just a man looking for a part, and fair deal. I OFFERED what I could afford based on the conditon and other expenses. Low ball? Your asking 550! Nevertheless, enough said. I'll continue my search, and great luck with the sale.

Just save your money and don't buy a fiberglass top. Yes they're that bad, as you've probably seen in your search of this forum. Then, save more money by not trying to buy a Tickford top that is not meant for your truck (you have a beltrail, not snaps like a 1994) and you will save even more money by not having to modify it to "work". Then use all of that saved money to obtain the rare and expensive parts that you keep losing out on to other people here who seem to be willing to pay a bit more for the same parts.
