NAS D90 **Apple Phone Mount Ideas **

Shoot over your thoughts about mounting cellphones (esp Apple 6+). I've tried the suction cup on the dash/front windshield and can't get it remain there ...over time (esp summer).

I saw one guy with his mounted in the ashtray - it looked functional and cool. Bueller? Bueller?

Ram Mount for center dash facia

If I had to do it I would buy one of these Ram mount balls installed in the center facia (where the 12V Cig lighter is) then I would just buy a Ram mount for my phone (or Ipad if you go that way)

I use a Proclip powered mount, screwed into the front of the dash. Up where you can see the phone while driving and secure for off road use.

I see that they do actually make a Defender Dash base that clips on.

Available from the US store, even though they do not know what it fits...

Love these mounts. Have several and they offer different lengths that work well with a flat 90 windscreen.

I was thinking about using one of those "Steelie" mounts. They're the ones where a steel ball sticks to the dash and a catch or grommet thing goes on the back of your phone. Any try that technique?
