NAS 110 wanted

I'm still looking for an NAS 110 for my next project. Yeah, I know, everyone else is too but thoguth I'd toss it out there anyway. I plan a lot of changes so I'm looking for a cheap-o (of course that is relative in an NAS 110).
Burnt is OK, dead motor OK, Rust OK and the more generally shagged the better.

Maxcar has one now I believe. I notice you are active here lately, you trolling for work. Nothing wrong with that, I do it as well.

Absolutely not trolling for work, we are flat out. Hobbyist web sites like this are great (remember I am a hobbyist too), but this is not our customer base. I do not expect, nor do I desire, one job from actions on this web site.
Just trying to offer assistance to the Defender community with advice and or tech support where I can and maybe sell some of our take out stuff that could help folks with their own DIY projects.

Why does everyone have to have an alterior motive????

What is maxcar??

Thanks

Mike - I would prefer it if you spent less time on D-90 and more time updating your own site. For some of us, we view your site updates as 'rover crack' and need our regular 'fix'. In all seriousness, glad to see you have found some time to post here. Mark

I actually don't spend much time here. I have to answer so many emails that I just glance at the board a couple times after a round of email work. I can actually type now (lots of practice... spelling still sucks, but I can do type-os faster now).
The ECR site however takes longer as I have to do the pix, think up the text and all that. The ECR site always suffers in the summer as I have more things to do (Rover as well as other hobbies) so other than project updates for customers, don't expect anything big from the ECR site until Fall. Sorry.

The buyers guide for Defenders will be done by Fall. I'm about half way through with it now.

I have some more pix of the Baech Runner 110 to post. I'll try to get those up for your weekend "fix".

why do't you wait a year and a half and buy an imported 110 for a fraction of the price? I bet you guys know importers and the process at the ports to get things in smoothly. (I am only refering to 100% legal importation of 25 year old defender 110's)

I think the 110 on Maxcar was the same as the one on Craigslist a few weeks ago. Rust was in th esame spots.

As most of our business is with NAS 110s we want to do an NAS 110. I had a customer with a 1984 110 that I put a lot of miles on, and I don't want one, plus the only contacts I have are in the UK (where we get our parts) and a 1983 110 over there is goign to be in terrible shape and RHD.
A Euro 110 just isn't what I'm after. Thanks though.

Did I just get a rise out of you? That would be my 'alterior' motive.

Glad to see you help out with DIY projects. And it is fun to clean up workspace selling stuff here.

Have a little patience with me, after all I am a 'legend in my own mind'

No worries.
Trolling for work is actually a tame thought about why I might be here. You should hear the rumor mill BS that gets back to us. Everything from we are going out of business (heard that one since day one... over a decade ago) to ones that we had to help the government in regards to Defender imports in order to stay out of jail. That one is my new personal fav., espcially considering anything court related would be public record, so that one really makes me giggle. So also have patience with me if I offer a "rise" too early.

Have a great day,
