M8 X 1.25 Metric Hex Nuts

I'm looking for eight (8) Grade 8 or higher.

I've been everywhere and they only sell 100 Qty packs. Lowe's, HD and the likes, sell Grade 5 or less.

Thanks!

Odd that they sell them as grade 5 or 8 since that rating system is used for standard thread hardware only. In the metric dept you would be looking for something like class 8.8 or 10.9.

You know what I meant... I wrote it without being technical... sorry!

I'm going to keep looking for a local place... shipping is $9 for a .72 order.

Matt,
Hopefully. I have 2 Fastenals by me. One they will gladly split open a pack as sell it to you no problem... the other won't. Not sure I understand why there is a difference in their store policy. But yes I agree it is a great place to pick up hardware especially if it it stainless as I have replaced most of the nuts and bolts in stainless and you can't beat $11 - $14 for bag of 50 SS bolts or nuts.

There are two, neither will break a package. Plus a Graybar, Grainger, HD, Lowes, AdvanceAuto, AutoZone, PepBoy's... none have it.

Clay,

I appreciate your help.

I'm hoping Loic has some...

If not, I'm biting the bullet and will buy the whole bag at Fastenal, it was around $15-20 for the 100 Qty bag.

I second the Ace Hardware. When I first started my rebuild project I went around with a double sided 8.5x11 sheet of paper full of bolts that I needed listed out. I found only a small portion of them at Lowe's, Home Depot, etc. The Fastenal here will not sell small quantities. There is a local outfit here called DD Bolt that is great but still prefers to sell in bulk. I went to the Ace in the next town over and they had every single bolt on my list except one. Ace is the place!

X3 on Ace. Best selection of metric or SAE hardware, by the piece. I miss them greatly, the best I can do in the UK is a place called Screwfix, and I end up buying in bags of 20 or 50. Of course on my 110, that's not a problem since every fastener has to be removed with the angle grinder...
