This is to be powder coated. Anyone got some? Ron says it won't stick and I need the lugs from a 87-92 range. If anyone has those I would appreciate it.

Buy the ones off ebay. Wadaman has three chrome lugs that got powdercoated when he did the rear tire carrier he may part ways with (I gave him clean ones) and that would get you 23. Not sure on those locking lugs as I am not sure what they were designed for so you have to call RN.

I've got a set of 23 alloy lug nuts off a 94 D90. Would these work for you or do you need earlier ones?

You can powdercoat the newer lugnuts, but it is better on the earlier ones as it will stick a lot longer. I had a set that I wire wheeled, primered and expoxy painted black and they lasted for the 4 years I had them without any noticable wear. The alum cap ones I have seen painted or powdercoated all look like crap after some time.

YMMV IMHO etc etc.

PM Wadaman on this board. He has three that ended up powdercoated black.

thaks I think I got it. I always thought the alloy ones wouldn't work for steel wheels. These are for a friend who is powder coating his stock alloys and wants to do the lugs too
