If someone buys that truck in Madison ....I'll buy that bulkhead and dash off of you.
I've contacted that guy a few times and he doesn't want to sell the bulkhead and dash separately.

I better update this listing and include more pictures. Within an hour I had 5 people interested, now the next morning I am up to 8 already.... I am only going to do 130's

Anyway, this car needs work !!

I have bought this car unseen, and this is what I know:

- has a Nissan 6 cyl diesel engine
- needs to go to V8 to be importable to US, I am making arrangements for that now.
- frame has some welding and needs more. By what I have been told it can be saved.
- Body, original green, then blue/black, then white. White starts peeling off
- interior not complete, headliner and rear bench missing
- car does drive, haven't tested gearbox or brakes or anything.
- has complete English registration
- year 7-1-1984
- original VIN plate
- car is standing still for some years already
- body straight, no (big) dents.
- original rare square rear doors

This is really all I know. For everything I didn't mention, this doesn't mean it is good, I just don't know.

So, did I know scare everybody off

Was the original color green, or is moss growing all over it?

Looks identical to the one Julian Kotting had many years ago as far as the body over the bed and rear door. Believe he said it had been a utility truck.
Nice find Johan. Looks like the 2nd row doors are square with slider windows. The square 2nd row doors those were very unique to the first special vehicles 127's. IE the rarest of the rare. Don't let Pedro have it too cheap.

No, this is a 1984.
The 127 came out in 1983, together with the 110. The sales brochures back then listed them both

Huh..!!, Wikipedia contradicts itself first of all and then further down.. But my trusty rovers north model designation book says 1985 for the 127 and 1991 for the 130!!! Shoulda known better than to trust rovers north..

Sort of on-topic (but sort of not)...however, since there are many 127/130 lovers here in this thread figured I'd pass along my recently finished registry entry:

This was our truck. We have had it in our yard for a few years, but did not have time to restore it and we needed some space so we have sold it to Johan.
It's a shame the Nissan diesel isn't allowed in the States because this 127 drives fantastic with this engine! Very very smooth and lots of low down torque.

This is the picture of which I bought it , also unseen ofcourse :-)
