Looking for 1997 NA Defender 90

I am currently in the market for a 1997 NA Defender 90. Preferably a soft top, but would consider a hard top. Must be under 100,000 miles and free of any mechanical, electrical, or rust issues. I am located in Savannah, Georgia, but will consider listings nationwide. If you are currently selling a Defender 90 that meets these basic preferences, please let me know. Years ago, I owned a 1994 NA Defender 90 Beluga Black with black leather interior. It's time to get back in the Defender game. Thanks in advance to all who respond.

Price range?

https://burlington.craigslist.org/cto/5359701283.html

Japanese - NAS 1997s - you will not find lower miles or better condition for that price. You just have to be ok with the trucks originally being sold in Japan as opposed to true NAS.

Be clear that its very difficult to confirm actual mileage on Japanese 97s as the speedometer would have been changed when they were imported.

Zack, I have a buddy with a 97 Beluga ST he has been thinking about selling. The truck is nice but the kicker is it has a brand new Badger Coachworks top that took about 9 months to get due to the back-up in orders.

PM me your contact details.

You always have someone selling something. What's he been thinking of selling it for?

In the high 50's I'm sure. A nice NW truck with one previous owner IIRC.

Yes, that. This guy, however, has kept the KM/H speedos installed, claims documentation of KM, and based on the photos, I seem to believe the miles. It is a good point nonetheless. Buyer beware.

Good luck with the hunt.

Has he thought about removing that brush guard to help his sale?
