led taillight conversion

Anyone converted their 1994 NAS D90 to the round LED taillights? My original square light set up is shot to hell "Hooya Skupetz" and im considering my options. Is this a major PITA? Any advice would be appreciated.

What color are you going with? Thinking about doing this conversion as I need to dig into my rear lights to find a short or something that is causing a fast blink.

Yours was that British Racing Green-looking 1994, right? I'm still confused by that truck!

Thats the one.......what are you confused about? It has an interesting history. It won the LR Offroad Challenge twice in the (I think) 90's, driven by Skupetz and (unsure of the navigator). It is loaded with goodies but it has taken a considerable beating. He sold it to British Rover Company in Ft. Lauderdale, and I ended up buying it from them. Coincidentally, Skupetz lives in town here and has generously helped me out even though I'm not so sure he's all that pleased to see his race truck back in town.

Confused about the BRG paint on a 1994 (BRG only available in 1997). Are you going to repaint it that color, or back to its original color?

It wasn't LR BRG...it was a Jaguar BRG...very cool color....although it was a garage job and the interior was still white.

Original color was white.
