leaky/bad '97 D90 Radiator

Hi, I am looking for leaky/bad (and unwanted) '97 NAS D90 Radiator that can be used as a rebuildable core for a reasonable price. The side tanks, connectors and top/bottom plates need to be good but cores can be full of holes and flaky to the touch. The radiator should have the right side engine oil cooler and the left side gearbox oil cooler connections. Thanks.

Umm, the radiators for 94s and 97s are the same? I swapped my Rad (94) with Dave M's old rad (97) and there were no differences. So no Gearbox cooler. Are you comming to Raush Creek? I could bring the old one as I think it has a hole and i don't need it.

I won't be at Raush Creek. Hmmm, but now I am curious.... The parts diagram for the '97 auto external oil cooler shows the cooling lines being similar to a Disco 1 setup. The lines route through the Radiator (left side tank) and even one of the three lines (from Rad to ext cooler) share the same LR PN between '97D90 and Disco1. A mystery for me since I don't have a '97 to look at.....

They both have the oil cooler, but no gearbox cooler, the gearbox cooler is separate. The oil cooler lines are on the passenger side of the Radiator.

Hmmm, Can anyone confirm? Pictures from a '97 D90 would sure be helpful... Parts manual lists a different radiator, ESR3685, for automatic D90s (from SA977128). The parts manual also lists three seperate auto oil cooler lines; ESR3695(used also on D1), ESR4218, and ESR4219. Finally, the listed external gearbox cooler, FTC5360 only has two connections. Unless I am missing something, these gearbox cooler lines on a '97 D90 route through the radiator on Left Hand side (or something else) just like D1's and RRC's. I have a paper Parts Catalogue, RTC9962FN and also verified that the LR Dealership has the same parts breakdown. Then again, these have been known to be inaccurate before.....

On a 97 the lines to the oil cooler do not come from the left of the radiator like D1's and RRC's, although on my RRC they don't go threw the radiator they only pass be each side. They come from underneath in the center until they are directly under the oil cooler then they go up and one goes left and the other goes right and they attach into each side of the oil cooler. The oil coolers for a 94/95 D90 and a 97 are not the same. I am not sure about the radiators.

Also I the radiators should be the same. But 97 only had one other think, and it only has two lines going to it. The "oil cooler and the external gearbox cooler" are the some thing on my truck. I only have one cooler. Just a radiator and an oil cooler, there is no third cooler.

I will try to get some pictures in the morning.

OK, Thanks. Pictures would help. Looks like the parts breakdown may be incorrect since three gearbox cooler lines are listed, but the description above would indicate only needing two lines (to/from gearbox and to/from external cooler mounted in front of radiator).

I have a '95 D90 that has engine oil cooler lines going to right side tank of radiator.
