In the market/WTB 110...

*** Mods please move this post if necessary. Traffic is my reason for posting here. ***

After selling my 130 a couple of years ago, I'm now in the position to buy a 110 I really want, and not settle. Sold the 130 because I need a 110's room/functionality. Wife, 2 little boys, and a very large dog require a 110.

I'm looking for a very nice 110, not a project. I prefer a diesel 200/300tdi/etc... Not a deal breaker, though. I venture daily through all ads on all sites, but not seeing much these days. Understanding many great trucks sell without ever advertising, I would like to make it known I'm in the market if you have a 110 to sell, or you're thinking about it. I'm currently working with a super fellow (Ash Heller) who's on the lookout for me for the right truck. So the process has begun. If I find something outside of his/my conversation, I may involve Ash for direction. The condition of the truck will determine my budget. Overpriced bling isn't my thing.

Please PM me if you're interested in selling.

Thanks in advance.

I have a few for sale ranging from project trucks to really nice, low mileage ones. PM you.

Don't have it yet, but in the process. Out of respect for the seller, I'll reveal after bringing home. Very excited.

Congrats! Gauging from how excited we are to just learn what you got, I can't imagine how psyched you must be!!

Having traveled almost 15 hours yesterday to retrieve a Defender, I can assure you the day will arrive very soon and it'll be a satisfying moment when it's in your own driveway.

Ha! I agree. I don't get why a Seller would prefer the sale to be on the down low until it is in the buyer's driveway.

Profit margin. If a seller paid half of what the buyer is paying and people know about it, they might speak up. There are several people who don't like others making money on "flips".

I never understand how you comment on threads like this. Last I checked you never announced to anyone your sales.

It's not a "flip", and the seller didn't ask me to keep it quiet, I just choose to until it's done. No biggie and we've not discussed it, it's just the older I get, the less I divulge about most things. The owner is a great fellow.

don't recall being asked but, if you're interested in any in particular im happy to share what I remember. And I've never dreamed of telling a buyer they should keep the details of a deal to themselves so it struck me as different.

Congratulations! Best way to find it is "word of mouth." I, too, just got one and I am currently finalizing it now. Hope to have it by the end of the month. I'd love to see pics of your truck when ready.
