Crikey!

Ps - am I the only one that when I see color-matched bezels & grill just assumes the entire truck was painted without removing a single trim piece? Plus, it looks like sh*t.

"lic NC dealer and bonded US CUSTOMS importer with TWIC , ACE and SCAC" who trades all of his thousands of vehicles from his inter galactic headquarters at the local Texaco station with a sheet of white paper in the window stating that this is "for sale" as not to confuse people who may think it was placed there as it would not fit in the recycling container next to it.

Since it's over the 25 year cut off, I guess he can bring in whatever without engaging the Watchful Eye.

Looks like just about every other imported for quick profit Defender I have ever seen. At least there are no drips/ runs in the finish.

A pillar forward respray, wrong side markers.
Bet this thing had a heavy from end damage and was "rebuilt".
Chassis is probably pretzeled.

I'm not sure it has been re-sprayed, from the photos the finish looks typical of a late '80s faded land rover. The colour matched grill, headlight finishers and wheel arches were an option on County vehicles in the UK, and to an extent still are on new Defenders. Most people just go with the standard black ones though. As for the engine, if it is a 6 cylinder then its an engine swap, it left the factory with the standard LR 2.5l 4 cylinder petrol.

The UK DVLA has it recorded as:

First registered 28th: Nov 1988
Cylinder Capacity: 2495cc
Petrol
Export Marker: Yes
Colour: Red

Not to stop the speculation but I'm betting he can't count plug wires.

Side markers appear to be PRC7044 which would be correct 86-94my.
