Heater Core/Housing

Anyone have one for a RHD? Mines pissing coolant. I'll take the Core if thats all thats avail but swapping the whole housing would be easier I'm sure.

Changing the core is very simple. Most of the work is getting the box out and back in.

Just get one from paddocks in the U.K. it will be $50 aftermarket and cheaper than anyone stateside even with shipping. That is what I did when my core went. It is easy to take the box out and replace the core.

Hey Adrian,

I just replaced my heater core today to put in a new one. It's for a RHD 110. It was not leaking, I just wanted to put in a new one for my restoration. I was going to save it as a backup but since you need one you can have it.

Got the old one out. Not sure what everyone's gripe is about removing the box. I did it with it in place. The metal will bend right back. Looks like the old one was rattling round and it wore right through the copper pipe

Pics as requested. Let me know if you still want it. I work all weekend so can't get it out until Monday at the earliest.

That don't look so bad. Just solder it.
