I use a simple Carling OFF-ON two position switch for mine: Carling Off-On Switch - Switches - Carling Switches & Accessories - Products I got the legend sheets from MudUK to customize each switch cover to indicate its purpose: Carling Switch Legend Stickers - Mounts & Accessories - Carling Switches & Accessories - Products

I would not put all the windshield power through the switch. Use a relay.

You should be using one of the timers too to prevent the screen elements burning out.
