Header bar / rail for soft top

Im looking for the header rail for a soft top. It should have 4 handles that clamp it to the windshield frame.

I'm assuming you mean the Euro Spec Header Bar:

unsure, I talked to all whell trim today. They said there were 3 versions of the header bar:

the early type that bolts on to the frame and the canvas has a flat metal slat that fits into it.

the middle model that uses a rubber tube and clamps on and off

And he puma version that is entirely different.

I know I want the version that detaches with only the 4 handles sort of like a modern convertable top.

This is what my 84 uses, if that's any help.

yea, im pretty sure thats the early type. Its wayy cheaper than the clamp version, but I wan to make it as easy as possible to take the top off.

Do you raise and lower your top often during the summer months?

Weeeeell I'm the wrong guy to ask, as my truck still isn't a driver (I got the big projects done and have been dragging my feet over the small ones). I didn't install the ST until after it had turned cold. Having said that, getting the top on and off (or just rolled back) is a very quick and easy affair. It's even easier if you're not running a full hood.

Lo, yea mine has been on the road now for a week. Im already thinking of warm weather. Fixed my heat for the most part tho, running a board in front of the radiator and I have the plenum box all the way to hot with a spring holding it in place.

fun fun
