hardware for wingtop protectors.

what are they? recessed head with an allen key? There are only 6 bolts.

I can check tomorrow for you Ron, Ah never mind let me grab a light.........recessed 4mm allen head. Say "TVR" in small capital letters on the head.

No, Yeastie's were installed in some non-standard way, they're supposed to be countersunk with pozi-drive.

I needed this information too: can anyone be more specific about sizes? I wanted to be sure it fit into the recessed bit correctly...

M6 x 20mm counter-sunk phillips head screws. Pozi is what comes from the factory, but isn't exactly necessary. McMaster part number 91801A315 for 316 stainless, you can buy 18-8 stainless to save a few bucks. It would be best to install rivnuts in the wing top, but the factory kit just comes with bolts, nuts, and washers.

I don't know what aftermarket stuff looks like, but the LR wingtop plates have countersunk holes to accomodate these screws.
