Going down to MAR with extra room via NJ/NYC? Shipping Help

If I can somehow get my new wheels and tires mounted and balanced before everyone leaves for MAR, are there some people with room for a tire-mounted wheel or two going to MAR and passing somewhere near NYC this week?

It'll probably be a miracle if I get these all mounted and balanced by tomorrow night (tires haven't been delivered yet), but I'm trying to help save "draaronr" from some shipping expenses.

I have a set of 5 to get to him, so if I can get 2-3 down there to him at MAR that would be a big help.

Let me know. Again, it's not a definite that I can get these all off in time, but I saw some people may be heading down Thursday and Friday nights.

Thanks!

Kenny and I could possibly* help but you would have to hook us up with that stuff Thursday morning with some ratcheting straps.

*bottles of liquor would have to be involved.

It looks like I'll be able to get you guys the spare and that's about it, probably.

Just checked my tracking and it says the tires are out for delivery...that usually means they won't show up until like 6.

So, it looks like they won't be mounted until Thursday or the weekend.

What is MALARKY is that I have four tires being delivered, but only THREE ARE OUT FOR DELIVERY, per tracking info.

2 tires might be tied to the same tracking number. I have had that happen with a set of 4...

Did you end up getting the wheels from Gustavo or do you still need them brought up from MAR?

Yeah, I had hoped for 2 tied to the same tracking number, but it shows three were scanned last night (out this morning), and one was just scanned this morning (out who the hell knows).

I don't have anything that needs to come up from MAR. I'll have to meet up when you guys get back, so that I can scrape some mud off of one of your trucks.

Doc, new tires just arrived tonight, so these won't be ready to go down this trip.

Are you at MAR right now?
Have room to pick up a RRC hood for me and meet me somewhere near DC on your trip back to NJ tomorrow?
I want a RRC hood from Crown14 (Joel) who has one at MAR right now.
