front open diff with 4.11's already installed

It looks like I broke (stuck locked) my front trac-lock diff. I'm looking for an open carrier with the same gearing (still need to confirm that its 4.11's) already installed. My plan is to swap this in, fix my trac-lock while out of the truck then swap it back.

Anybody have the parts I need? (truck is NAS 1996 Disco)
-Danny

Danny, you can pull the front 3rd member out and just drive with your difflock engaged while you get your Trutrac repaired.

I personally know plenty of guys who drove for months in 2 wheel drive without a front or rear end installed.

I was thinking about that, does anybody sell a plate to cover the back of the housing?

FYI, Matthew - flananuts here - yesterday highly recommended a shop not too far from you who specializes in differentials.

No, I just taped a garbage bag over the opening and drove home from MAR a few years ago.
Then I drove around for a few weeks without a front 3rd while it was repaired.
You won't lose any oil as you will have already drained it.
But you just don't want dirt and water to get in the axle housing.
