Front Middle Seat

I've had my defender for about a year, but find I can't take it out as often as I like because I often need to take my wife and little one and I'm a seat short. So I'm on the look out for a middle front seat, preferably in gray vinyl. I also need the base bracket.

Let me know what you have.

Thanks in advance!

free?

If you are willing to pay the freight from US post office, I will mail you one with seatbelts/brackets from here. Zip code is 09128. Grey vinyl, good shape.

That or it goes to recycling. Theses Germans recycle the sh*t out of anything!

Hate to mention, if child is still in a rear facing child carrier, for pure safety front facing rear seats would prob be safer.

PM recieved. Looks to be about 60 bucks for postage, going snail mail lowest cost. Give it a day or two, if nobody closer has free, let me know, will ship!

Jason,
There are 2 types of center seats. 1 is wider than the other. I installed mine so we could put little guy in between in the 90. I removed the 94 cubby box as the radio relocated to the dash. I did put in the seat belts that went through the Graco Base. I did use seat risers on all 3 seats in order to give me room to shift the R380 when I had it. I can shoot you a pic of the install. I did have to move the drivers and pass. seat over a little bit to get the center seat in. I am not sure how you feel about stock vs. modified but if I am going to put a child in the center seat, I would spring for a set of rock sliders as they will provide more protection in a T bone accident than aluminum sills.

Jason, if you have not yet sourced a seat, let me know. I will attmpt to get to post office Monday. Sorry, been busy.

Seat and seatbelts/brackets. No bolts. This one is out of a 94 300Tdi, and also fit in my 200Tdi.

I second the rock sliders for side impact. Get ones that frimly tie into frame or outriggers.

I would love to see pictures of members center seat configurations.

I finally gave up and cut down a standard seat to fit the middle.

Installing in the next week or two...

Bump. I'm still looking for a front middle seat set up. I have the seat belts but need the frame and seat.

Thanks!

I have an Exmoor middle seat. Installed for a few months. Probably never actually sat in. Grey vinyl with a houndstooth tweed. Includes a canvas ripstop cover.

I live in Portland, I can deliver to Tacoma in about five weeks, whenever my truck shows up in port. Or meet somewhere on the way to Sucia Island June 8th or 9th.
