Not to rain on your parade but how much of a 90 do you have to start with? I am 1/2 through a build that started off with no front end, no drive line, no doors and bulkhead that needed some repair and am in it for way more than what a used truck would cost. Granted I am building this one with a 4.6, new paint, powedcoat everywhere and a ton of new stuff, but would not do it again. You may want to start with an older 90 complete and swap over the parts. That way you may end up with a diesel rather than an ODBII compliant 97 which requires smog/emmissions. I saved cash on paint work by going black and had the seat box, inner tub, under tub, floor boards and inner and outer bulkhead all powder coated gloss black. Saved a ton of time on prep work as it was sandblasted and sprayed.
